At present, most of the stretch film rewinding machines used in China use conical top clamps to clamp and unwind the stretch film rolls. When clamping in this way, the unwinding shaft does not rotate, so the film roll is usually braked by the friction between the belt and the surface of the film roll. On more flexographic printing machines, the conical chuck is fixed with the unwinding shaft and rotates together with the stretch film roll. A friction brake can be installed on the core shaft for braking.
